Planning a trip for late January/early February 2010. What are your thoughts on the water parks during this time of year? Too cold? Also, do you need a park hopper to go to theme park and water park in one day?

Hey Susan being a Southern girl too, I always find it too cold to hit a water park during that time.  Don't get me wrong, there will be people that go, but when I'm there in February, cold water is the last thing on my mind.  Now with that said, I have actually been in February when it was really warm enough to go if we had wanted to and then I have been when we were wearing sweatshirts and not bathing suits.
As far as the type of ticket you will need.  If you are planning on going to a water park and then going to a theme park later in the day you will definitely need a hopper pass.  A one day magic your way ticket will only allow you into one park per day, including the water parks.
Hope this information helps you, and thanks so much for coming to the Mom's Panel.
