Planning trip for late Feb or mid March of 2013. Easter falls late march then. If we go week before easter is that high crowd/ high cost? Is late feb better crowd/cost? If we book early what happens if a "special" comes along later? Your panel

    Hi Stephanie,

In February, you will want to avoid the week of President Day. This is a very popular school holiday and many guests like to visit the parks with hopes of avoiding shoveling snow at their house.

The week prior to Easter is not as crowded as the week following Easter. However, depending on school calendars the week before could be just as crowded especially if Passover falls during this week as well.

The Easter and President's Day weeks price out as almost the highest at the parks. They will be cheaper than Christmas but you will be lucky to find a special.

I always recommend you book the vacation you can afford without the special. Then if you find a special, call Disney and ask if they have any availability with the special. If so, they will generally offer you the new rate.

    Have a magical vacation!
