We are planning a trip the last weekend in September/first week in October to Disney World. My children are 2 and 4 and we are planning to go to MNSSH. Any thoughts on the event and my children ages? Thank you!!

    Christina,

Walt Disney World during this time of the year is one of my most favorite times to visit. The Fall and Halloween decorations are beautiful and fun and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is an event all Guests young and old at heart should attend.

My children were four and six when they first attended and both had a fantastic time. On the day of the event we spent the first half of the day relaxing by the pool and making sure our children were well rested because this event does last until midnight. Guests of all ages come dressed in their Halloween costumes and spend an enchanted evening discovering and trick or treating with Disney Villains lurking around every corner and favorite Disney characters decked out in their Halloween costumes. Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade is one of the best parades at Walt Disney Word and be sure to catch a quick glimpse of the Headless Horseman right before the parade starts. Most of the Magic Kingdoms attractions are open at this time and you naturally must ride the Haunted Mansion on this spooktacular evening. Finish out your magical night with some of the ghosts from the Haunted Mansion as they and other Disney Villains send you off with a musical and night-time display of dancing and fireworks.

This event does require an extra admission ticket purchase and typically go on sale around the beginning of May. So, get your costumes planned and be ready for the best Not-So-Scary Halloween night you have ever had.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
