    I am planning a trip for June for me and my two daughters (4 ad 14). If you book your stay and tickets through another booking company other than WDW is the dining option still available? I am looking at staying at the Regal Sun Resort - Downtown Disney.

    You are correct to question this - the dining plan option is only available when staying at an official Walt Disney World resort. The dining plan can be a great value, so it may be a deciding factor in deciding to try a Disney resort.

    A list of the resorts can be found on the this page of the Disneyworld.com site. Room rates and seasons are also listed on the individual resort pages, so this may help you with making your lodging decision.

    If you decide to stay at the Regal Sun Resort, you can also save on your meal budget by enjoying some of your meals off-site. Breakfast is especially easy to "grab and go" on your way to the parks in the morning.
