Heigh-ho, Ronn!
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. We're always ready with a smile and a song, to help guests make the most of their visit. Your crew sounds like they'd have a tough time sleeping in Snow White's friend's beds but I'm happy to help you find a comfortable solution. It's off to work we go!
Disney Resort Collection hotel rooms do offer King beds but you won't find multiple in a single room. I snoozed like Sleepy in a Water View-King in the Gran Destino Tower at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort a few years ago, but the room only featured one bed and a sofa to accommodate up to 2 guests. If your travel party is Bashful about sharing accommodations, this shouldn't be an issue. You'll just need to book multiple rooms to comfortably house your group during your visit.
I opted for a Water View, but you'll have the choice of Standard as well which offers views of the Courtyard, Landscaping or Parking Areas. King Rooms are also available throughout the rest of the resort, but I preferred being close to the dining options in the Gran Destino Tower.
I've also enjoyed a King room at both Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney's Beach Club Resort which put me just steps away from the fun at EPCOT. Note that Stormalong Bay, the shared feature pool at these resorts is scheduled for refurbishment through June 2025 but there are a few other quiet pools available for guests to enjoy during their stay. My panelist pal Lauren noted King rooms (some of which also feature a daybed) available at a few different resorts in
this answer for another guest. I recommend paying close attention to the room configurations noted for each while booking. You can r
each out to a Cast Member via the online chat or by phone if you need additional details before finalizing your reservations.
I'd like to mention that though they are well-priced and adorably themed, the Value Resort beds might not go the distance for your group and the rooms don't offer a lot of extra space if someone in your group is feeling Sneezy. I'd probably avoid those (like a poisoned apple) for this particular visit.
If the thought of securing multiple reservations makes you feel Grumpy you can also consider one of the
Deluxe Villas. These resorts feature 1, 2, and 3 bedroom Grand Villas which would keep your friends under one roof. However, these do not feature multiple King beds per unit.
Disney's Old Key West Resort typically gets high praise for its spacious Villas, so it might be a good option. If you're looking to splurge, a
2 Bedroom Cabin at Disney's Wilderness Lodge or a
Bungalow at Disney's Polynesian Villas both offer luxurious accommodations for a party of 8, but the beds won't all be King-sized.
I hope this information helped, Ronn. If we can make you Happy by providing additional recommendations please come back and let us know. We may not have a Magic Mirror, but we'll always do our best to help! I hope your upcoming vacation is the fairest of them all.
Magic and memories,
Amy
