We are planning a trip for January 2013. How crucial is it to make dinner reservations in advance for this month? We would be interested in the character dinning.

    Hi Megan,

While January is one of the less crowded months at Walt Disney World, it is still strongly recommended that you make dining reservations for things like character meals and signature dining. These experiences often become fully booked with advance reservations, making it impossible to just walk in. There are some restaurants where you might not need reservations during slower times, but you should always make them for character meals.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
