Hey there, Deanna! It's my pleasure to welcome you back to planDisney. Your March vacation is just around the corner, and you must be getting excited. Are you making plans to attend the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival? I love seeing the topiaries and sampling all the wonderful food items, so I hope you'll be able to check it out! As you get ready for your upcoming trip, I am happy to share details about the registration process for
Disability Access Service (DAS).
The first step is to register for a video call with a Cast Member to determine eligibility. You may request this call as soon as 60 days in advance of your visit or complete it on the day of your visit, just know that there is currently no in-person option. Since you're within your 60 day window, you can go to the DAS page on the Walt Disney World Resort website and request your live video chat.
The Cast Member will discuss recommended services with you during the call in order to make an eligibility decision. If DAS is provided, you will continue with the registration process, which includes having your photo taken and selecting up to three additional guests to make up your party.
I encourage you to review the
Frequently Asked Questions and all the registration information on the DAS page. That will help you set up your video call and know what to expect. In addition to DAS, Disney offers many
support services to help guests with disabilities. If you have additional questions, you can
reach out to a Cast Member with Disability Services.
Let me know how else I can be of assistance, Deanna! I hope you have a wonderful visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Stay magical,
Scott
