    I am planning a trip for my husband and I December 2017. We are choosing between a studio at the Grand Floridian or the Polynesian. I prefer the Polynesian, but GF seems like it may feel more like Christmas. What is your preference between the two studios?

    Hi Brooklyn!

    I know how difficult of a decision it can be to choose between two beautiful resorts at the most magical place on earth! Both Polynesian and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are gorgeous and filled with activities, delicious food and out of this world ambiance. 

    For Christmas, I completely agree with you on Grand Floridian. We stayed at the Grand Floridian in December and it was amazing! Between the life-sized gingerbread house, huge tree in the lobby and Christmas carols played from the grand piano, you really can't beat this resort during Christmas time. This resort is opulent, so expect no less during Christmas. You will see hand blown glass ornaments, you can buy treats from the 1,000 square foot gingerbread house and white lights will twinkle in the lobby.

    Polynesian is also beautiful at Christmas and you will get a look and feel that is themed for the resort. The tree is beautiul and large in the lobby. The ornaments have an island feel and they play Hawaiian Christmas music. You can also enjoy eating at 'Ohana (my fav Disney restaurant) at this resort.

    I know that no matter which resort you choose, you will have a wonderful time! Make sure to buy tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party while you are here in December!
