    We are planning a trip for me, my hubby and our 3 kids aged 9, 3, 2. We are so undecided on the resorts as they all look wonderful. We know we want a dlx or dlx villa. My question is what is your favorite resort & are the studios the same size as reg r

    Our family loves the deluxe resorts, so I hope I can give you some great advice!

    Personally, we try to stay near the Magic Kingdom as we spend the majority of our vacation time there! We also love the ease of getting around the resorts in this area, as well as being able to hop on the monorail to visit Epcot for the day.

    With your larger family, I'd suggest that you take a close look at the Contemporary and the Polynesian. Both of these resorts offer fairly large rooms plus an extra day bed.  This may give you a little extra room with the kids. I know the day bed has saved us from many sibling arguments! And often, these resorts' rooms can be larger than some studios!

    The Polynesian's Volcano pool is a favorite among kids and the tropical theme may be perfect for you! Another great plus is that you'll be able to watch fireworks at the Magic Kingdom from the beautiful beaches (or even your room if you choose this view when booking). With young kids who may head to bed fairly early, it may give you, your husband and older child a great view without overwhelming the little ones!

    The Contemporary is a great choice for many of the same reasons, but with a much different feel. With its more modernistic decor and the Monorail which runs through the hotel, there are plenty of offerings here as well! Plus, you can walk to the Magic Kingdom from this hotel! A great option when traveling with kids!
