    I am planning a trip for a group of 14. How do I go about making character dining reservations for a large group?

    Hi Roslyn! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Making dining reservations for a large group can be a bit tricky. Fortunately, character dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort are among the better options for large parties.

    You can make your reservations online. I have filtered this list of dining locations to include character dining.  Simply select a date and time or time period (Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, or Dinner) and your Party Size to see what may be available. Chef Mickey's is a classic choice, with the opportunity to meet the Big Cheese himself.  One of my family's sentimental favorites is The Crystal Palace, with Winnie the Pooh and pals from the Hundred-Acre Wood. I love the selection on the salad bar there, and the dessert variety is fantastic!  Another great choice is 1900 Park Fare. Try the chilled Floridian Strawberry Soup - yum!

    If you prefer, you may also make your reservations by contacting the Dining Reservations line, or (407) WDW-DINE. If you are having trouble finding availability for your large party online, give them a call.

    Dining reservations may be made up to 180 days in advance. With a large party, availability is a bit more limited so I recommend making your reservations as far in advance as possible. Also keep in mind, while not all restaurant locations may be able to seat the entire party at one table, they'll do their best to seat large parties at tables close to one another. Enjoy!
