Hi Amy!
Thanks for bringing this question to planDisney! That sounds like an incredible trip! Let’s chat about how your Advanced Dining Reservations will work.
You’re right that once your
booking window opens at 6 AM Eastern, 60 days prior to your check-in date, you’ll be able to book your dining reservations for the first 10 days of your trip since you’ll be staying at Fort Wilderness! After that, your dining reservations will work on a rolling basis.
So, the next morning, you’ll be able to book your dining reservations for the 11th day of your trip. Then the following morning, you can book dining for the 12th day. And so on.
If you have high-priority restaurants you’re hoping to go to, it could be worth waking up early each morning to snag those reservations. Otherwise, I’d personally just hop online or on the
My Disney Experience app whenever I woke up for the day to make those reservations for later in my trip. You’ll still have quite the advantage by being able to book your reservations that far out!
If you're looking for a fun restaurant with delicious food, don't miss
Hoop Dee Doo Revue! It's located right there at Fort Wilderness, and it's one of my family's absolute favorite restaurants at Disney World. I think it might be impossible to get through a whole meal there without smiling and laughing!
Now, if you’ll be
purchasing Lightning Lanes for your trip, I’m happy to let you know that when your booking window for those opens, you’ll be able to book up to 14 days' worth of Lightning Lane services. So you won’t have as many early mornings!
Your Lightning Lane purchasing and booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your check-in date.
I hope that all makes sense! Let us know if you have any other questions!
