Hi Tammy!
Welcome to planDisney! We are here to help you answer your questions about planning a future
Walt Disney World vacation! I'm glad I can help you answer your question about Annual Passes and
Disney Parks Pass reservations! I see you will be arriving just in time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World! I'm sure there will be plenty of magical moments to be had during this special time! You've made the right choice to book and plan early, as I'm sure the demand will be quite high.
Tammy, congratulations on being a Florida Resident Annual Passholder. As an AP holder myself, I love the perks of being able to access the parks and discounts throughout the year. I can understand your concern with needing to make park passes now for that highly sought after time. One option for your family is to purchase
park tickets separately to make your Disney Parks Passes. You can then utilize the cost of those tickets towards your renewal. You are able to renew your annual pass up to 60 days prior to, so you can renew as early as April. Once you are ready to renew, you can call the Annual Passholder number, and have them apply the ticket cost to your renewal rate. Make sure you check out the
Know Before You Go page of the Walt Disney World website for any up to date changes or information on your future stay. Also, keep an eye out on the
Disney Parks Blog where any information on the 50th Anniversary celebration is sure to be released!
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
