Hi William,
Boo to You! I mean, I know it's only January, but I LOVE hearing that you're already planning ahead to your
fall getaway at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
While many Disney fans are wishing on a star that
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will return this year, it's simply too soon to know. I can tell you that in previous years, announcements about this
spooktacular event have happened at various times in the first half of the year, most recently on March 19, 2018, January 15, 2019, and February 25, 2020. Our world is very different now, though, and with Disney's
commitment to health and safety, we'll all have to wait to see what they decide. I'd encourage you to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements about how they'll celebrate a frightfully fun fall! I can tell you that last year, even though Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party did not take place, Mickey Mouse and his pals still found ways to bring
Halloween fun to Magic Kingdom Park. With Halloween-themed character cavalcades (featuring the catchy "Boo to You" melody!), scrumptious fall treats, and even the opportunity for Guests to don their favorite costumes, the magic of the season was most definitely still alive.
You'll be pleased to hear that even though Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party couldn't happen last year, the other beloved fall must-do at Walt Disney World Resort was still a big hit. The
Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival provided fun for all ages, and is always something I look forward to!
Have fun dreaming about and planning your fall getaway, William, and please come back and see us again at planDisney if we can help with anything else!
Missy
