Greetings, Allison!
Welcome back to planDisney we are so happy to have you and I’m thrilled to hear about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World! You must be getting very excited because now as your trip gets closer and closer comes the fun part, planning all the fine details. Some of those details include dining reservations,
Lightning Lane selections, and purchasing
Memory Maker! All of those details are add-on options to consider. If I had to choose one, I’d go for the Memory Maker because vacationing at Walt Disney World means creating new memories with my family and the best way to preserve these new core memories is with photos!
Plus, you’ll be able to use your MagicBand with
Disney PhotoPass Photographers to link the photos they have taken to your My Disney Experience account. MagicBands are the way to go so let’s make sure yours are all set. Which MagicBands are you bringing with you? If you have the newer style,
MagicBand+ then those are rechargeable so you won’t have to worry about them not working. Just charge them a few days before your visit and bring the charger with you as well. If you have the older style, the lifespan on those is an average
of 2-3 years so it might be time to upgrade.
Your pre-arrival offer is good until you arrive. There’s even a little countdown letting you know when the latest is that you can order your new MagicBand+ so that they arrive on time. If I were you, I would purchase those sooner than later! Especially since they are rechargeable, you’ll get more than one visit out of them. Waiting is still an option and if you choose to wait, you’ll still be able to purchase your MagicBands throughout the
Walt Disney World Resort. Just keep in mind, you won’t be able to take advantage of that pre-arrival discount.
Allison, I hope this helps guide your decision-making! If there’s anything else we can help with, we're always here to answer any of your questions.
See ya real soon,
Shantel
