Planning a trip with my family this year, and it’s our first time as DVC members. Are we able to take our guests, which are non DVC members, into the member lounges? And is there a restriction on how many guests we can bring in?

Hey there, Shelby! Welcome home for the very first time.

There are some really awesome Disney Vacation Club Member Perks, and the DVC Member Lounge at Epcot and Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort are two of the best.

The lounge at Epcot provides a cool, comfortable space for you and your guests to relax. Each DVC member card admits the member and up to five guests, so if you and your significant other each have a DVC member card, you can each take up to five guests with you. The lounge here offers complimentary beverages, WiFi, charging stations, and a great play area for the kids. There are even computers, so you can book your next trip "home" while you relax.

Top of the World lounge is available to DVC members and their guests. If you have non-DVC members staying with you on your reservation, they are also permitted access. This lounge is, in a word, AWESOME. While enjoying the tranquil space, you can enjoy a cocktail or a few savory snacks. This is an awesome place to watch fireworks, and most members know it. This is a first come, first served, limited seating location, so if you want to watch the fireworks from the lounge, go early, enjoy some snacks, have a drink, and you'll be in a good spot for the fireworks show.

I hope your first trip as a DVC member is one of your most magical vacations yet.
