I am planning a trip for my family and I have having trouble picking the right dining experience. We have 3 kids and two of the are 7 and 11. What do you sugest would be couldn't character dining or other food?

    April,

Your message got garbled by the internet gremlins, but I think I might have some suggestions for you. If you are asking for some fun dining experiences other than character meals, I have a few in mind. Here are some of the more entertaining, fun dining experiences that keep tweens entertained.

Wilderness Lodge: Whispering Canyon Cafe (Lunch or Dinner)
    Polynesian Resort:'Ohana (Dinner)
    Epcot: Biergarten (Dinner)
Epcot: Teppan Edo (Lunch or Dinner)
    Downtown Disney: Raglan Road (Dinner)
Downtown Disney: House of Blues (Sunday Gospel Brunch)
Hollywood Studios: 50's Prime Time Cafe (Lunch)

The fun at 'Ohana and Whispering Canyon may be a bit more designed for kids close to your 7 year olds age, but the 11 year old should still enjoy it too. All of these should offer a nice alternative between character dining and a white table cloth dinner. I especially expect Biergaten and 50s Prime Time Cafe to fit the bill.

I am glad to field any follow-up questions you may have. Just go to my bio page to ask.

Have a Magical (and delicious) Vacation!
