We are planning a trip with family and currently have all 3 reservations (group of 9) on my account. How do I unlink my brothers reservation so he can link it to his new my Disney experience account?

Hiya, Amanda! Thanks for bringing your question to us at planDisney!

Can you believe that you're only a few weeks away from your magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort? I couldn't be more excited for you! Make sure that you take some time to check out the character topiaries and outdoor kitchens of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which will be in full bloom by the time you arrive! But before we get you into the parks, let's talk about how you can share the planning with the other Guests in your travel party.

Amanda, it sounds like you've been managing the Guests in your travel party through your My Disney Experience account! If you head to your Family & Friends List, you'll likely see the words "Plans managed by me" next to some of the names – specifically, your brother. In my opinion, the next best step would be to share the planning with your brother, allowing him to access and co-manage these plans!

To do this, log into your account online, hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, and click My Family & Friends. Locate your brother's name and notice if it says "Plans managed by me" next to it. Click "Update" next to his name, then "Share Planning with..." Enter your brother's email address that's connected to his My Disney Experience account. Once he accepts the invitation on his end, he'll be able to view, co-manage, and make plans with his account! He will also be able to access all this information through the My Disney Experience app.

Speaking of which, I'd strongly recommend downloading the My Disney Experience app and exploring it before you arrive! You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order food. It feels a little like a magic wand in the palm of your hand! And make sure that you've made your theme park reservations with the Disney Park Pass system. This is an important step to reserve the parks you'd like to visit on each day of your trip.

If you run into any issues with the above steps, you can always call a friendly Cast Member! They'll be happy to take a peek at your reservations and assist you with any next steps that are available to you. And of course, please write to us again if you have any other questions. After all, you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
