Planning a trip this fall with our kiddos, 2 & 4. They nap @ 1 daily. We plan to spend 2 days @ parks (no park-hoppers). If we do a morning @ Magic or Animal Kingdom, & go back to the resort for naps, can we re-enter the park after naps?

    Dear Sarah,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question for your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Yes, your plan will work perfectly! This is a strategy that I recommend to a lot of families with young children. If you can get up and out early, you will enjoy several hours of early park time before the big midday crowds arrive, then have some lunch and head back to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel for a nap. After everyone is well rested and happy, you can head back to the park for lots more fun! If you have a non-park hopper standard ticket, you would only be able to be re-admitted to the same park that you were in that morning. There is a VERY slim chance that the park would reach crowd capacity and you would not be allowed back in, but that is very unusual and accommodations would be made to assist your family in that circumstance.

    Happy napping!
