We are planning a trip at the end of Sept. 2012. We are planning on taking a train. Is there a shuttle from the Amtrak station to WDW? I know there is a shuttle from the airport, not sure about the train station.

Hi Courtney! I bet you are getting excited about your trip to Walt Disney World in September! There is not a shuttle from any of the Amtrak stations to Walt Disney World. Amtrak trains to Walt Disney World stop at three stations: Orlando - This is about 20 miles from Walt Disney World. You can rent a car from Hertz or take a taxi. They have a taxi stand at the station. Kissimmee: This is 15 miles from Walt Disney World. You will have to use a taxi from this location because there is no rental car service. Sanford: This is 43 miles from Walt Disney World (a 50 minute drive.) This is an unstaffed station, so you will need to call for a taxi. They do have a Hertz rental car service at this location as well. If you decide to rent a car, just make sure you call Hertz ahead of time to reserve your car in advance. I hope you have a magical vacation! Please let me know if I can help you with anything else at all! Magically, Stacy
