Hi - I am planning a trip at the end of April and am wondering if there are certain days each park is typically the least crowded.

Hey there, Mary! I'm so glad you were able to find the second star to the right and follow it straight on to us here at planDisney!

Any day at Walt Disney World Resort is a great day, but my absolute favorite time to visit is in the spring! You're going to be visiting at such a wonderful time of year with so many new adventures waiting for you. To quote my pal Bambi, it makes me feel positively "twitterpated!" I especially can't wait to hear what you think of the Beacons of Magic in each of the parks, which is just one of the many enchanting moments waiting for you during The World's Most Magical Celebration

If you're anything like me, I try to thoughtfully plan my trips so I can find adventure in the great, wide somewhere - and with the lowest crowds possible. I'd love to give you a few of my favorite planning tricks to help you have the BEST. DAY. EVER!

When I think about planning my Theme Park Reservations, I try to avoid visiting Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT on the weekends. Magic Kingdom Park tends to be the most popular (and therefore, the busiest) park in general. On the weekends, locals often visit EPCOT to check out the sights and sounds of any festivals occurring, such as the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival taking place during your trip! For these reasons, I tend to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park on the weekends and save Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT for weekdays. Whenever you book your vacation package, I'd make these Theme Park Reservations right away so you can make sure you reserve your preferred parks!

If you're looking for other ways to delight your travel party, you might consider booking something special from the Enchanting Extras Collection! These are great ways to minimize waits and maximize the magic. Personally, I'm looking forward to surprising my family when we travel in May by reserving spots at the Disney Enchantment After-Party. This will allow us to have a preferred viewing spot of Magic Kingdom Park's newest nighttime show, Disney Enchantment, and then leisurely enjoy some sweet treats to cap off our night! The only thing better than fireworks and desserts will be the relaxing walk out of a nearly-empty park. Talk about magic!

Mary, I hope these tips will be able to help you plan a worry-free vacation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to pop on by!

Faith, trust and pixie dust -
