We're planning a trip in early May to WDW and we're not staying on property. Can anyone make reservations for any of the Character Dining options or do you have to be staying in a Disney property?

Hi Christina! Guests do NOT have to stay on-site to make dining reservations.  All meals, including character dining, are open to anyone.  I suggest you make your Advance Dining Reservations as soon as you can.  As you get closer to your travel time, there will be fewer and fewer open spots.  You can make your reservations online on the Where to Eat page, or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
