Hi, Emma!
Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! March is a beautiful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort especially if you are planning to enjoy the
Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. It's one of my favorite events because I can never get enough of the colorful flowers and incredible Disney Character topiaries. There are some areas for children to explore and play at the festival if you do decide to bring your little one. Since he is under two, it is actually a great time to bring him along since Guests under the age of three are free. You will be able to add him to your reservation at any time without any difference in price.
As you make your decision, you may want to learn more about the
Rider Switch feature offered at many of the attractions. It allows one adult to wait for an attraction while the other adult waits with the non-rider. Once the first adult is finished, the second adult can ride without having to wait again using a Rider Switch Pass. Also, there are many attractions your son will be able to experience especially in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. I remember my son loved Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh the best when he was two! He also thoroughly enjoyed firing his laser gun while twirling around in Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin!
Something else you might consider if your son accompanies you on this vacation is planning a special night out using the
independent childcare provider, Kid's Nite Out. This is a convenient in-room service so it may be something to consider.
Hope this helps with your decision!
Nancy
