We are planning a trip in early January 2020 and I have two questions: 1. What day is the final day of the holiday decor? 2. What rides and/or entertainment will be closed while the decor is removed? Thank you!

    Hi Kate!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm delighted to see you'll be visiting The Happiest Place on Earth during the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

There is something truly magical in the air during the holidays at Disneyland Resort and your trip is going to catch the final sprinklings of cheer! The holidays at Disneyland Resort this year will be celebrated from November 8, 2019 to January 6, 2020. The decorations will still be up through that day and overnight the Fairy Godmother will waive her magic wand and voila everything will return to normal decor by January 7, 2020.

The two attractions that will have major changes with holiday overlay removal are "it's a small world" and Haunted Mansion. Haunted Mansion Holiday removal will begin on January 7 and will take a week or two. While the exact dates have not been announced just yet for "it's a small world" Holiday removal, this should be reflected on the refurbishment calendar as the dates approach.

I hope this helps in planning your upcoming holiday! Please come back and see us real soon, if you have any other questions.
