We are planning 2nd trip in early December. We just came back from our 1st trip at AKL with DS5 and DD1and loved it. We were thinking of staying at either POFR, Wilderness Lodge, or Poly. Any suggestions for best decorated for Christmas?

    Hi Lisa,

The Christmas season is amazing time to be at Disney World! The decorations and events that Disney offers are unique and fantastic and we can't wait to kick off our holiday season with our annual December trip.

All of the Disney resorts are beautifully decorated for the holidays and any of your suggestions would be a great choice, however the one I would pick is Wilderness Lodge. The resort is a designed like a rustic log cabin and the towering lobby features overstuffed coaches and chairs and a huge stone fireplace with crackling fire. During the holiday season, the Wilderness lodge displays a massive Christmas tree in the lobby that can be enjoyed not only from the lobby but also from the floors of balconies that overlook the open lobby. The resort is tucked amongst a dense area of trees and the beautiful grounds helps set the atmosphere of a wooden cabin on a Christmas night. Everytime I see the Wilderness lobby for the holiday season, I am in awe of the massiveness and beauty of the lobby, tree and resort.

Good luck deciding, but remember no matter where you decide to stay, you are welcome to visit all of the Disney resorts and enjoy the gorgeous decorations.
