Planning a 4th trip to DW in May2016 but dont want to book hotel til early 2016 in hopes of getting discounts.Worried about not getting into BOG for lunch though. Can I book a reservation still? And when?180 days out or do I need hotel reserv. for that? Thx

Hi, Beth! You will be able to make Advance Dining Reservations 180 in advance whether or not you have a Resort reservation booked; however, there is a slight advantage to having a Walt Disney World Resort stay already reserved, especially when looking for those extremely popular restaurants like Be Our Guest. The perk for already having a Resort reservation is that once the 180-day window opens, you can make all your Advance Dining Reservations for the first ten days of your vacation, giving you an advantage over those without Resort reservations or those staying off-site. Those without a reservation or not staying on property must make their reservations day-by-day as each 180-day mark rolls around.  They do not have the advantage of booking their entire (unless you're staying longer than 10 days) vacation at once. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
