We are planning a trip to DW 10/1-10/5, 2012 with 3 girls ages 7, 7 and 10. This is our first trip. So overwhelmed with how/what to start planning.. What special reservations should I make now? We are staying at Grand Floridian. Thanks!

    Hi Stephanie!

I certainly understand that planning a Walt Disney World vacation can be overwhelming, especially for a first timer.  You came to the right place with questions!

The first thing you will want to make a reservation for is for any special dining you want to do.  All of the table service restaurants highly recommend advance reservations, especially character meals.  Take a look at all of the character dining available and see if you girls would enjoy doing that.  Our favorite is Chef Mickey's where the classic characters come around to visit you including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Goofy.  How about dining with the Princesses?  I bet your girls would love to eat INSIDE Cinderella's Castle.  If so, Cinderella's Royal Table is perfect for them.  You can make reservations online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

Do you want to do any special experiences like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for your girls where they will be transformed into real Princesses by a Fairy Godmother?  This is a fun experience and has two locations, Downtown Disney and Magic Kingdom.  Please call (407) WDW-STYLE for reservations.

All of these suggestions begin taking reservations 180 days in advance, so you are already in your window for booking.

Please come back and visit if you have additional questions.

    Have a magical day!
