Planning 1st trip to DW with DH, DD 13, DD 10! When is best ? Oct 6-12 '09 or Mar 16-21 '10 or May 30-June 5 '10? Mainly I would like to avoid crowds.

    Yvette,

Of the three, the only one I would recommend as a great time to avoid crowds it your first time frame, the October 6-12 week.

March can get quite busy (packed, really), and the May/June is fully into summer break, so it too is a crowded time to be there.

To be honest, even if it were not for the lighter crowds, I would still prefer the October dates over the other two. Why? Well, it is still a very "summer-y" time to go, but the weather is not quite so sweltering hot. You can swim in the pools, but you don't feel at mid-day as if you have walked onto the surface of the sun!

Also, you are also not there during the June-September rainy season.

I hope that this helps. If you have any other follow-up questions, please feel free to ask me directly from my bio page!

    Have a magical vacation!
