    Hi! We are planning a trip. We are dvc members at Saratoga & were thinking wilderness lodge instead. Our favorite park is Epcot ... Especially for dinner. Do you think we will find the transportation to Epcot will take up a lot more time from WL?

    Welcome Home! 

    My husband loves Wilderness Lodge and you truly feel like you are in the Pacific Northwest when you stay at this resort. The pool starts in the lobby and turns into a geyser which is so unique that the concept was borrowed and added at Aulani in Oahu.

    If you are comparing times from Saratoga Springs to Epcot, than you will gain time when traveling to and from the Wilderness Lodge. From a Disney Vacation Club perspective, Boardwalk or Beach Club villas would allow you maximum time to dine at Epcot with a quick walk into the park through the International Gateway.

    If you do stay at Wilderness Lodge, Whispering Canyon Cafe is my favorite restaurant and Artist Point is great as well though they are two completely different dining experiences.
