Planning a trip during September with my DH and 2.5 year old son. It's our first trip. Which resort is the best choice for first timers with a toddler?

    Kathryn,

I really think that depends on your budget. My top picks in each price range:

Value - the new Art of Animation Resort (fun themeing and it's brand new!)

Moderate - Caribbean Beach Resort (the pirate ship splash park is so much fun for little ones!)

Deluxe - Animal Kingdom Lodge (lavish decor, fabulous food, and giraffes just steps away from your door!)

A close second in the deluxe category is the Beach Club, which boasts the best (by far) pool on Disney property. It's a mini waterpark all on its own!

Keep in mind that unless you plan to spend a good bit of time in your room, you might want to save money there and spend it elsewhere. If you just plan to sleep there at night, save the money and go value. If you want to spend a fair amount of time at the pool, go moderate. If you really want a resort that is a destination of its own, stay in a deluxe.

    Hope that helps!
