Planning a 5th trip to Disneyland but 1st trip to the parks with our toddler. Our son has a metabolic disorder and can not metaboloze anything to do with coconut. Do you know of any foods containting coconut oil?

    Hi Lyndsay!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disneyland Resort really does go above and beyond to assist Guests with dietary limitations to ensure that they have a safe and healthy experience during their visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

You'll find that most dining locations have the ability to substitute or make changes to dishes to accommodate the most common food allergies including gluten, eggs, fish, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, soy and corn. While coconut is a tree nut (I learned this the hard way cooking something for my nephew with a tree nut allergy), your concerns may extend beyond these common allergies. For Guests with metabolic disorders, it is requested that you contact Special.Diets@disneyland.com at least 14 days prior to arrival. This team is dedicated to assisting Guests in navigating the dining process. They will be the most qualified to assist in making sure your son has a truly magical time!

Please come back if we can help in any other way before your upcoming visit!
