I am planning a trip to Disneyland in June 2026. How soon will I be able to book those dates? Currently I’m only able to pick dates through the end of this year.

Welcome to planDisney, Sunny! As much magic as there is at the Disneyland Resort this year, 2026 is shaping up to be a summer filled with fresh adventures, sunny skies, and plenty of pixie dust. I’m so happy to help you begin planning your magical getaway!

Vacation packages and hotel rates for 2026 will likely be released around August 2025. While we’re still waiting on a specific release date, this timeline can shift slightly from year to year. I recommend keeping a close eye on the Disney Parks Blog. It’s the best source for the latest updates on vacation packages, resort news, and those fun seasonal extras (like summertime sips and snacks!).

Theme park tickets and reservations can typically be booked up to 180 days in advance, though that window is always subject to change. Since you’re dreaming of a June 2026 visit, it’s a great idea to start checking for ticket availability and reservation openings around December 18, 2025. The Theme Park Tickets page on the Disneyland website will be your go-to spot for the most accurate, up-to-date information.

Sunny, as you plan your park days, I highly recommend checking out the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. It’s a fantastic tool that lets you reserve return times for popular attractions, giving you more time to soak in summer fun like a ride aboard Grizzly River Run or a sweet treat from Clarabelle’s. You can purchase the Multi Pass in advance or on the day of your visit. After scanning into the park, just open the Disneyland app to start reserving your return times.

One final tip: summer at the Disneyland Resort is also a great time to catch seasonal entertainment like a high-energy parade or fireworks lighting up the warm night sky. It’s the kind of summertime magic you’ll remember long after the sun sets behind Sleeping Beauty Castle.

I hope this helps you as you plan your 2026 Disneyland adventure, Sunny! If you have any more questions or would like help fine-tuning your itinerary, we’d love to welcome you back to planDisney.

Wishing you a visit full of sunshine, happiness, and unforgettable moments,
     David
