Hi Heather,
Welcome to planDisney! I hope you're having fun dreaming lots of Disney dreams and I can't wait for them to all come true sometime soon at The Happiest Place on Earth!
While policies are always subject to change, as it stands currently, the State of California is highly recommending that all Guests be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort. Cast Members will not ask for proof of vaccination or a negative test result upon admission, though. If you have concerns about the policy or any possible changes, please feel free to
chat with a friendly Cast Member.
As far as buying your tickets now, I wanted to make sure you know that
theme park tickets are non-refundable. However, the great news is that there is a bit of flexibility as to when you may use them! One-day tickets that are purchased this year are valid now through December 30, 2022, and multi-day tickets purchased this year must be used within 13 days of first use or by January 12, 2023, whichever occurs first. Do keep in mind that one-day tickets may need to be upgraded to a
higher tier if your date changes. Did you know, though, that even if you're not able to use your tickets before their expiration date, the amount paid for an unused but expired ticket may be applied to the purchase of a new ticket of the same or greater value? This should give you some flexibility if something changes prior to your visit and you're unable to travel as planned!
I hope this helps, Heather. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, and please let us know if we can help with anything else in the future. I hope you have a truly magical
Disneyland Resort adventure next month!
Missy
