Hi Christina!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! May is a perfect time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. The weather is typically warm and beautiful, but the crowds are traditionally lower than you will find in the summer months. You’ll also find the beautiful
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival in full bloom! With gorgeous Disney Character themed topiaries throughout Epcot, and global cuisine kiosks located around World Showcase, you won’t want to miss this exciting event!
At Disney table service dining locations, children ages 3 to 9 will be charged the child pricing, and this is what you would be charged for your 4-year-old. While your 18-month-old child does need to be listed on the reservation for seating purposes, they will not be charged to dine. At buffet-style restaurants such as
Tusker House, you may offer your little one food from the buffet. At plated meals such as
Cinderella’s Royal Table, little ones may eat from their parents’ plates. If you have a large eater and wanted a child under 3 to receive an entree, you would need to list that child as three and pay the child pricing for that child. While it is not a guarantee, in my experience, most restaurants offered my little one a complimentary beverage such as milk or juice.
I hope this helps as you plan your meals! Please let us know if you have additional questions, we are here to help.
Have a Magical Day!
