Planning our 3rd trip to Disney World. Looking to stay Christmas thru the New Year. Wondering what are the best Christmas experiences. The best places to stay, and things to do on Christmas and Christmas Eve.

Visiting Walt Disney World during the holiday season is absolutely magical!

I have several suggestions for making the most of your holiday experience.

First, my favorite Walt Disney World resort to stay in during the holiday season is Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I love this resort during the holiday season because you will get to see the beautiful gingerbread house, huge Christmas tree and beautifully decorated resort! Speaking of which, I highly suggest visiting all of the Walt Disney World resorts during your trip and taking a day to look at all of the wonderful gingerbread houses and decorations. Each of the resorts are decorated differently and beautifully!

Second, I highly recommend experiencing Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party while you are there. This is a separately ticketed event and it's held at Magic Kingdom. You will get to experience "snow" on Main Street, hot cocoa and cookies, a special Christmas Wishes, a Christmas Parade and special holiday experiences throughout the park.

Third, Epcot has a plethora of wonderful holiday activities, including the Candlelight Processional, which is a beautiful, inspiring and uplifting experience, complete with a narration of the Christmas story and music. You can also meet and hear stories from the storytellers around the World Showcase and learn about holidays around the world.

Finally, no Christmas trip is complete with a visit from Old St. Nick! You can meet Santa Clause in Disney Springs. Make sure to pay him a visit while you are there.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
