    Hi, I am planning a trip to Disney World at the end of this year in December for my family. Do magic bands come with the price for the resort and park tickets? Or is there an extra charge for them?

    Hi Molly!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We are thrilled you stopped by to ask a vacation planning question.   I hope you are having a great time planning your trip to Walt Disney World this December.  I know you are going to have a magical time making unforgettable memories with your family.

    To answer your question, MagicBands will be mailed to you at no charge if you book a room at a Disney Resort hotel.  You will be able to customize the MagicBands by choosing a color and having a name or initials added to the inside of each MagicBand.   My children always find this process really exciting and love to make up funny names to add to the inside.  On my last vacation I had a Princess, Prince and Jester in my group.    If you do not stay at a Disney Resort hotel you would need to purchase a MagicBand, they do not automatically come with a ticket purchase.
