    We are planning a trip to Disney World in December, does it get cold? What is the weather going to be like at that time?

    Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Kristin!  How exciting that you are planning a Walt Disney World Vacation! December is my favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World!  I have made numerous trips to my favorite vacation destination in December and have experienced quite varying temperatures throughout the years. We have worn shorts in December on several trips while also needing coats and gloves on one vacation. The average high temperature for Orlando in December is traditionally in the low 70s while the average low temperature is typically in the low 50s. I would definitely recommend bringing items that can be layered with jackets or sweaters for the early mornings and evenings when the temperature is lower. I would also recommend checking the Orlando weather forecast a few days prior to your vacation so that you can pack accordingly.
