I am planning a trip to Disney world for April 14-19 2010 and I was wondering what the crowds and the wait timesmight be like in relation to our last visit which was May 2-9 2009. Also can you tell me what special events will be going on at this time?

Hi, Jeremy!  With Easter being a little earlier in the month of April, you will likely have missed all of the Easter crowds, There are some schools that are still going into their spring break holidays around that time, but you are likely at the tail end of the spring break crowds as well.  You may find the theme parks a little bit busier than early May, but it shouldn't be outrageous.

You will be visiting during the EPCOT Flower and Garden festival if you go during this time.  This annual event is quite popular, and you'll see all sorts of special kiosks set up, have an opportunity to participate in lectures, and enjoy the incredible topiaries!  There is also a Flower Power concert series that always has some favorite performers like Davy Jones of the Monkees and Chubby Checker..

    Have a wonderful vacation!
