Hi. We are planning a trip to Disney the week of Feb. 12-18 and staying at Pop Century. Need dining and attractions for 8 year old princess. Loves Rapunzel and Ariel. What days would be best in which parks?

    Hi, Jenifer!

The best way to track down the princesses is by picking up a daily guide as soon as you enter the theme parks.  That will list the character meet and greet times for the day at that theme park, so you'll be able to go see who you want to meet.  You can often find many of the princesses at EPCOT, where they generally appear in the World Showcase at their country of origin (for example, Snow White is often near Germany).  You can usually find some of the princesses at the Adventureland Veranda in the Magic Kingdom, and Rapunzel sometimes turns up as well in the Magic Kingdom.

As for attractions, my girls love Buzz Lightyear at the Magic Kingdom and Toy Story Midway Mania at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  They're also big on the classic attractions such as the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and It's a Small World.  Splash Mountain is another hit  - even my youngest!  At EPCOT, Journey Into Imagination with Figment is still one of their favorite attractions, and they LOVE Soarin'.  When you hit Disney's Animal Kingdom, check out the Kilimanjaro Safari ride, and if you have an adventurous princess, Expedition Everest might be something to check out.

Your dining options are numerous!  Try to check out a character meal.  At EPCOT, you'll find a group of princesses at Princess Storybook meals at Restaurant Akershus in Norway.  Other character meal options include the Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom (which is usually Pooh and friends) or dinner at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian (typically Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the wicked stepsisters).  My kids also love Prime Time 50s Cafe and 'Ohana.

    Have a great vacation!
