I am planning a trip to Disney for 4 people. I’m trying to purchase online with 2 $500 gift cards but I’m only able to enter 1 gift card. How do I enter the second online?

    Hello Gabriella!

Welcome to planDisney! Disney Gift Cards are a great way to save and pay for a Disney vacation. My family uses Disney Gift Cards frequently. We give them to our children as gifts for special occasions, and I will often purchase them over the course of the year as a way to put money aside for our vacations.

Sometimes when paying online, sites restrict the number of types of payment you can use. I have run into this issue when paying for airline tickets as well. You’ll be happy to know that you can combine your two gift cards into a single gift card, and this should allow you to make your purchase.

Head to the Disney Gift Card website. You’ll be able to sign in with the same Disney username and password that you use for all Disney sites. From there you’ll be able to add each card to the site and transfer the balance from one card to another. Currently, the Disney Gift Card site will allow you to transfer cards up to a maximum card balance of $1,000. This should allow you to use the full value of your two cards in a single transaction.

I hope this is helpful information, Gabriella. Sending you pixie dust for an easy transaction! Please let us know if you have any additional questions before your trip. We are happy to help!
