We are planning a trip to Disney in October. My in-laws who live in Florida want to buy the kids tickets. They are not planning to go to Disney with us though. They didn’t know if they could still purchase resident children tickets if no one else is a resi

Hi Kiristie! I’m so happy you brought your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Autumn is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!

Your in-laws will be able to purchase Florida Resident tickets for your children, but must be present when the tickets are activated to show Proof of Florida Residency. If they purchase multi-day tickets for the children, they would not have to be present any of the other days the tickets are used.

Florida Resident tickets can be purchased online and picked up/ activated at the Disney Springs Guest Relations window (also the Guest Relations windows at any of the theme parks) or they can be purchased/activated at any of the four theme park ticket windows.

Kiristie, take advantage of all the seasonal fun at the Walt Disney World Resort during your visit! Autumn is a great time to enjoy the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom Park!

I hope you and your Mouseketeers have an unforgettable visit!
