Hey there, Breanna!
You have made a great first step in planning the most magical vacation for your family by reaching out to us at planDisney. Think of us as your personal vacation recommendation Fairy Godmothers.
Breanna, the first thing that you will want to do is to decide where you are going to stay. I always recommend staying in the
Disney Resorts Collection. Not only do the resorts have an incredible theme and fantastic amenities but they provide quick, complimentary transportation to the theme parks.
If you want to stay close to the Magic Kingdom check out
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Not only is the location incredible, but the rooms have also been re-themed to a Moana motif. I can not wait to check them out!
If you are looking for a little more wallet-friendly option, I recommend
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. This resort has an amazing pool and provides quick access to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios via the
Disney Skyliner.
Once you decide where to stay, I recommend that you book a
vacation package. Packages include your room accommodations as well as theme park tickets. One of my favorite things about this is that you can book with as little as $200 down and pay over time! Please note that terms and conditions are subject to change.
Once your vacation package is booked, you can go into your
My Disney Experience Account and make your
Disney Park Pass system reservations. These reservations are required for theme park entry in addition to your ticket, and they do book up!
One thing that I recommend you do is to add a rest day to your itinerary. While the theme parks have so many amazing attractions to experience, half the fun of any Walt Disney World Resort vacation lies outside the parks!
Explore the amazing shopping at
Disney Springs or dine at one of the amazing restaurants located in a resort hotel.
Speaking of dining, if you would like any table service or character meals, be sure to make
advanced dining reservations 60-days in advance of your check-in date.
Come back here with any questions, Breanna! We love to hEAR from you!
