I am planning a trip to Disney in March 2013. We are a family of 4-with 2 boys ages 3 and 6. We have previously stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. We would like to try a different resort-perhaps a moderate. Please help us decide between POR/F and CSR.

Hi Kimberely! If I could recommend a moderat resort, I would totally say Coronado Springs!  With gorgeous colonial Spanish themeing, and an awesome main pool, you are bound to enjoy your time here!  In 2010 Coronado Spring underwent a full refurbishment which entailed adding Queen size beds (YES!), flat screen TV's, privacy pocket doors in the sink/dressing area and beautifully appointed linens and room decor.  At the Lost City of Cibola pool, you feel like you've been transported to a resort in Mexico, complete with Mayan Temple!  The Jaguar pool is one my children enjoy, and only recently they have added pool side activities to keep kids and parents alike entertained!  My favorite new addition would have to be Movies Under The Stars! A large inflatable movie screen is set up near the pool, and Disney classic movies are shown in the evening. The counter service option at CS is at the Pepper Market.  Currently they are offering buffet style for breakfast and lunch.  I have yet to try that, so I cannot comment if its a good addition or not.  Cafe Rix offers good grab and go food, and a variety of gelato and great desserts!  Once you've got your snack, you can have a seat in the very plush Rix Lounge, which has a full bar for those wanting a bit of a kick to their drink! Coronado Springs does not share bus service with any other resort, so we never had any issues being able to get on the bus to the parks or a bus returning to the resort.  Well, I hope that I've been able to sell you on the benefits of staying of Coronado Springs!! -Malanie
