I am planning a 2nd trip to Disney, but last time we were there in March and the weather was terrible and the line-ups were crazy. I am looking for the first weekend of June, can you give us any insight to the usual weather patterns, lineups?

Hi Carol! I'm glad to hear that even with bad weather and long lines your March trip was so much fun that you're planning to return in June! I think you'll enjoy visiting Disney in early June -- the weather is typically warm and the crowds are generally much lower. The temperatures in June average in the low 90s during the day and the low 70s at night, which is twenty degrees warmer than the March high and low average temperatures. Likewise, March is peak season at Disney due to many schools being on spring break, so park attendance is at maximum levels. In early June, many children around the country are still in school, and crowd levels at Disney are moderate. I like to visit the Crowd Calendar on the unofficial website TouringPlans.com, which predicts attendance levels in the parks on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the most crowded. According to that site, March crowd levels are generally 9 and 10, while the first weekend of June is a manageable 5.

Wishing you a magical Disney vacation this June! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions before your trip! We're happy to help!
