    We are planning a trip to Disney (end of Sept) andwant to take our DD (2 yrs old) to Chef Mickey's, when I checked on line there is no availability, but was wondering if they do walk up reservations on the day of? Or if it would be beneficial to call?

    Hi, Priscilla!S ince your trip is soon, I would check the website everyday for cancellations.  As Guests' plans change, so do their dining reservations.  You never know when an opening might occur.  I would be especially vigilant in the days right before your trip.  With the new credit card guarantee, there will probably be some openings in the day or two before the day you want to dine.  Let me explain.  To ensure consistent Guest service, a one-day cancellation policy—the credit card guarantee policy—applies to reservations at many of the dining venues. If Guests' plans change, there will be cancellations to avoid this fee. If you're still needing reservations when you arrive, seek help from the Guest Services at your resort.  If all else fails, you can always try to get a walk-up reservation, too.  I'm sending pixie-dusted wishes that you get the reservations you want.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
