Planning trip to Disney 11/21-11/27 with DH, DS-12 & 9 and DN-2. We are so excited! I have heard something about a boat ride in Epcot. Can you explain and does it cost any extra that just the regualr park ticket? Thanks for all of your help.

There are several boat experiences in and around Epcot. I'm not sure which one you're interested, so let me explain them all.

    - Boat within the World Showcase Lagoon. Travels from Showcase Plaza at the edge of Future World across the lagoon. Saves shoe leather, but not really much time when you're traveling from one side of the World Showcase to the other.

    - The Maelstrom ride. In the Norway pavilion. Adventurous ride through Norwegian scenes.

    - The Gran Fiesta Tour. Tame ride through Mexican scenes.

    - Living with the Land. A boat through the Land pavilion. Tour the Epcot hydroponic gardens. Very interesting.

All of the above are included with your Epcot admission ticket. Also included are the Friendship boats that can take you from the International Gateway exit at Epcot to the Epcot area hotels and to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

There are also special evening Illuminations cruises that can be taken in the Epcot resorts area outside the park. There are additional fees for this. More more information on these call 407-WDW-PLAY.

Have a great time exploring the waters of Epcot.
