We are planning a trip to disney and are curious about staying at coronado springs. How does it compare to the other moderately priced resorts? Is this the best moderately priced resort for value, convenience, etc? Thanks--

    HI Cassy!

I think one of the hardest things about planning a Disney trip is narrowing down the resort choices! There are so many beautiful places to stay that its nearly impossible!

Coronado Springs Resort is a beautiful resort styled after the American Southwest & Mexico. You'll see styling representative of different areas of the southwest and Mexico. Its even complete with a pyramid at the Big Dig Pool Site.

The resort is pretty large however, and is quite spread out. If the large area of the resort doesn't matter to you, then its a beautiful choice.

Personally, I tend to prefer the smaller of the Disney resorts. My favorite in the Moderate resort category is Port Orleans French Quarter. One of the key reasons is the small size and convenience of all of this resort's amenities. Everything is within close walking distance and a single bus stop serves the French Quarter.

I hope this helps you decide!
