I am planning a trip to Disney and can't seem to book 2 different resorts during my week stay. Any feedback on how to reserve 2 resorts in the same transaction?

    Hiya, Cassandra! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm so excited to hear that you're planning a vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth this November! It sounds like you're looking to double the magic by choosing to stay in two Disney Resorts Collection hotels. This is something my husband and I also love to do! For us, the Disney Resort hotel we choose is a huge part of our vacation, and we find this to be a great way to experience the theming, dining, and unique traits of multiple resorts.

Cassandra, when booking two Disney Resorts Collection hotels for your trip, you will want to make each reservation separately. Book your first hotel completely, then book your second hotel. I would make sure to check that the hotels are available on your desired dates - sometimes a whole new world of possibilities opens up just by shifting your dates by a day or two!

When booking your first hotel, you'll want to try to purchase the number of tickets you'd like to use for your entire trip through a vacation package. Then, your second hotel would be a room-only reservation. However, if you're not seeing the option to purchase the number of tickets with your first vacation package, you may consider booking two room-only reservations, then purchasing your tickets separately. You can purchase tickets for up to ten days and just be aware of the new ticket expiration dates

Once you secure your Disney Resorts hotels with the dates you want and have purchased your tickets, be sure that you make your Theme Park Reservations with the Disney Park Pass system! This is the best way to reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip.

Pro tip: make a note on your calendar for when you're able to make your advance dining reservations! You can make your dining reservations 60 days prior to each arrival day for your trip. Personally, I love making a breakfast reservation for Kona Cafe at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort on the last day of my trip and I'm especially looking forward to trying Steakhouse 71 at Disney's Contemporary Resort on my upcoming trip this May. But Cassandra, you can't go wrong no matter where you dine at Walt Disney World Resort. Disney calories are just more magical!

I hope I was able to help you make your reservations today, Cassandra! If you have any other questions, please visit us again. Remember - you've got a friend in me!
