Hi we are planning a trip to Disney Beach club or Wilderness Lodge. We want to ship our luggage instead of taking it on a plane. My question for those who have done this is how did you package your clothes & did shipping go smoothly?

    Hi Shelly,

Shipping your clothes ahead of time is a great idea and one that I have used myself on several occasions.  I did not actually ship the luggage but instead packed my clothes in a box and sent it to the hotel ahead of my arrival using United Parcel Service (UPS). You will need to contact Disney's Beach Club Resort or Disney's Wilderness Lodge to inquire about correct shipping addresses.  The mailing label should include your name and arrival date.  For example: Shelly Jones, Guest, Arrival date, c/o Disney's Beach Club Resort.  The hotel can provide any additional information that will be required to insure that your package arrives safely.

If you wanted to ship luggage, a Google search indicates that there are several companies that perform this service.  Again, please check with your resort to insure proper delivery.  You may also visit Shipping Information which explains mail services at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Enjoy your luggage free vacation!  Please come back to the Moms Panel if you need additional vacation planning assistance.

    Be Magical,

    Leanne T.
