Hi moms, we are planning a trip for dec. 09-16th and will be visiting the mk the 10th and 11th we have breakfast reservations both mornings at 9:30, is that a bad time since we won't be able to go straight to rides that our 3 yr old would enjoy?

Welcome back to the Mom's Panel, Sara!  That's a great question!  I have traveled to Walt Disney World many times when my children were toddlers.  Based on my own personal experience, I have found it to be better to book Advanced Dining Reservations for breakfast prior to park opening allowing us to be finished with breakfast and ready to experience the attractions when the park officially opens or shortly thereafter. When my children were three years of age, we usually arrived at the parks first thing that morning and went back to our Disney Resort for a midday break or nap. Many of the Character Dining Experiences are also available at lunch and dinner as well, which may be a great option for you if you're concerned about missing that time at park opening.  On park days, my family enjoys being able to take advantage of the attractions first thing in the morning since the park often gets more crowded around midday. You may also want to consider booking a breakfast reservation for one of the restaurants at the resorts on a non-park day.  Our favorite Character Dining Experiences at the Disney Resorts include Chef Mickey's featuring the "Fab 5" at Disney's Contemporary Resort and 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast at Disney's Polynesian Resort, which features Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto. If you do decide that you have your heart set on keeping your existing Advanced Dining Reservations, I do think having two full days at Magic Kingdom will help ensure experiencing everything your "little Mouseketeer" will enjoy!   I hope this helps!  Please feel free to write me back if you have any additional questions that I can assist you with.  Best wishes for a Magical and Merry December Trip, Sara!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
