Hello there, Holly!
Thanks for bringing your question to us today! I'm happy to help.
I experienced my very first
Disney After Hours at EPCOT event with my family last summer and we had the most magical evening. I loved being able to enter the parks a little earlier than the official event start time to enjoy a few snacks and watch the evening fireworks on the World Showcase lagoon. Once the fireworks ended and daytime guests began to exit the park we found wait times to be very low at most attractions.
We made our way to
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure before heading toward the front of the park to tackle
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Test Track and Soarin'. We were sure to pick up some complimentary popcorn and Mickey Premium Ice Cream bars as we enjoyed the live DJ and characters in different areas of the park.
Our visit happened to coincide with the first day of the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and though we wanted to continue snacking our way around World Showcase we knew we wouldn't have access to every pavilion during the event. Global Kitchens closed promptly when official park hours ended for the day but luckily, we had plenty of complimentary snacks available to keep us fueled into the late-night hours.
When entering World Showcase we had the option to go left toward Mexico as far as the Norway Pavilion. Access was closed after Norway through Morocco. Heading right, we could access Canada, the UK and France Pavilions before Cast Members were stationed to redirect guests. At the end of the evening, we exited the park via International Gateway so
Disney's Beach Club Resort would be a perfect choice for your stay. Spend the next day resting and recharging at Stormalong Bay, one of my favorite pools on property. You'll be ready for more adventure after floating a few laps along the lazy river!
Holly, I hope this helps you plan your most magical visit. Please come back and let me know if I can answer any additional questions.
Magic and memories,
Amy
